The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office on Thursday arrested a 22-year-old Computer Science Undergraduate, of the University of Port Harcourt, Kenneth Gift, his girlfriend, Dandy Spice and his mother, Dorah Aninah for suspected internet fraud in Agbor, Delta State.
According to report gathered on Instagram, their arrest was made through, a petition from the US Federal Bureau of investigation, FBI, and intelligence by operatives of the Commission, although the suspects have made useful statements, and will be charged to court as soon investigations are complete by the EFCC.
Information also revealed that, items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest were, a 5-bedroom duplex, Mercedes-Benz CA250, Mercedes-Benz C250, Mercedes Benz GLK 350, laptop computers and mobile phones, according to report.
The post of the arrest of mother and his girlfriend has created a lot of impression on Social Media, at the age of 22 years, he was still interested in passing examination in school at that particular age, adding that, the society has became something else.
Another user also said, what has his girlfriend do before her arrest? Added that, her girlfriend was just chopping from his money, and that shouldn't be a crime for her arrest.
