See how police officers lost their lives chasing hoodlums

Tragedy struck in Oyo State as two officers lost their live in the line of duty. The officers in question were reported to be new recruits stationed at the Oyo State Durbar Police Station.

Late Opeyemi Olagoke and Ogunyemi Mujeeb reportedly drowned in a mud leading to their death while on a chasing some suspects.

As reported by Instablog Naija today, it is not only the two constables lives that were lost. A third person thought to be their colleague, a member of the Discipline Intelligent Group of Nigeria (DIGON) also drowned during chase.

It is remains a mystery, no one can explain how two graduate police constable can just lose their lives chasing weed smokers, when their careers has just begun

It was reported that, the suspects were chased towards a bridge badly affected by water erosion by the late constables at Awerintu River, Oke Eletu, Oyo State. One of the hoodlums jumped into the water and was immediately followed by the Officers who got swallowed instantly by the mud.

This tragic incident goes to show that human lives are very fragile and at any moment anything can happen, hence every one has to be prepared for death.
