Hunters Kill 3 Kidnappers And Discard Them From Their Hideout In First Attack

Local hunters and night watchers killed 3 suspected kidnappers in Kogi State. The hunters were said to have launched a first attack on the kidnappers after being tipped of their hideout by the Senior Security Adviser to the Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello. About three advanced pump action rifle and other weapons were recovered by the hunters during this operation.

The hunters, who were inhabitants of Okehi in Adavi local government councils of Kogi State, stormed the hideout of this criminals in the early hours of Saturday, around 4:30am. The kidnappers were discarded after sighting the local hunters who has come to attack them. Some of the kidnappers stood their ground as they also open fire on the hunters, but where gunned down by the hunters.

Their was rumour on Wednesday that kidnappers will launch a fresh attack on travellers along Lokoja-Okene highway and also on the residents of Adavi local government. The hunters and night watches were directed by the Security Adviser to the location of the criminals along Lokoja-Okene highway.

Two informants of the kidnappers were discovered and were interrogated by the police, during which they revealed the exact location of the kidnapper's hideout.
