River state Police Operatives discovered the decomposed body of a kidnap victim identified as Mr. Dinebari Ereba, who was reportedly kidnapped on the 5th day of May 2020.
Yesterday was recorded with a gruesome experience as newsmen in Rivers State with a team of Police Officers led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Operation, ACP Innocent Umerie, drove them to a forest at Alesa farm road in Eleme LGA of the state where one Mr. Dinabari Ereba, 38, was gruesomely killed by his kidnappers after collecting a ransom of One Million (N1m) Naira from the victim's family.
It has been reported that the 38-year-old Ereba was abducted since 5th May 2020, which the kidnappers requested One Million Naira for a ransom, the family without hesitation paid the huge ransom. However, the kidnappers gruesomely assassinated Mr. Ereba after collecting the N1M ransom.
Police investigation disclosed that they tied the victim's body to a tree where he stayed till he passed away and decomposed.
The police were able to nail down one of the kidnappers as he was trying to change the color of the deceased car. The kidnapper led them to a forest in Eleme Local Government Area Of River State where the body was found after they left him there to rot.

The two suspects arrested by the River State Police Operatives are Osundu Uchendu, 25, and Amebulem Amos, 23. They were arrested during a follow-up operation on Ereba's kidnapping.
Subsequently, yesterday 15th July, the criminals led the Police Operatives alongside newsmen to the forest where the gruesome incident took place.
