Kano State Lawmakers Set up hash Punishment to Deter Rapist From Carrying Out The Evil Act

The members of Kano State Assembly on Wednesday have voted to adopt Castration as a way of any found guilty of rape within the state.
This decision was adopted as a member of the house identified as Nurudeen Alhassan made a to for the Kano House of Assembly to amend the previous 14 years jail term that served as punishment for rapist, as he says it wasn't enough.
In his State Nurudeen Alhassan said: “Therefore, I am calling on the House to recall the law and amend it, to provide castration punishment for rapists.
The reason for this drastic measures was based on the the rampant cases of rape in our society, as it is so worrisome, making him feel a hasher punishment will make rapist have a rethink before deciding to rape anybody.
Alhassan also suggested ways parents and the state government can help curb the increased number of rape cases in the state. He also asked the House to find out how the rape cases were being handled by the courts in the state.
