A 19 years old suspect identified as Sunday Sodipe, has confess that a certain herbalist, he works for, known as 50 years old Adedokun Yinusa Ajani, was the one sending him to kill his victims, and gives him 500 naira, anytime he finnish killing his victims. He further disclosed to the Oyo State Police command, who had arrested the suspect and the herbalist, in connections with killings, at the Akinyele axis of the State. The 19 years old Sunday added that, anytime he wanted to go for operation, the 50 years old herbalist, would instruct him to kneel down in front of him, for incantations, and then will put something on his tongue three times. The suspect further said, that he kills his victims using the shovel, and that after killing his victims he will return to the herbalist, who would do incantations, buy him food and then gives him 500 naira.
According to reports, on interrogation by the police, the 50 years old herbalist, Adedokun Yinusa Ajayi, denied ever knowing the boy, saying that the boy, Sunday Sunday is a wayward boy. Who was only brought to him by his mother to do spiritual work on him. That after some months, the boy returned saying he wants to become an herbalist. That after the boy stayed with him for some days, he had to send him away, because he was not satisfied with his behavior. Also that it was not long after he sent the boy away, that police came and arrested him, the herbalist added. According to the police, the suspects were responsible for the dead of several people around Akinyele axis of the State. That they have recovered a hand shovel, and mobile phones from the Suspects.
