This is a case of love turned hate, as the Ondo State Police Command has arrested Iyabo Julius, a 23-year-old woman, for allegedly conniving with her lover, Adedayo Sunday, to rob and kill her ex-lover, so they could be together.
The incident was said to have happened in the 12/12 area of Ore in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State Nigeria. Reading this can really be scary, as there is truly a thin line between love and hate as it was confirmed by the police that the deceased was Iyabo’s former lover and she managed to convince the new lover to commit the crime, to enable them get married.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Bolaji Salami, said the deceased was found dead in a pool of his own blood around the 12/12 area of Ore. To was reported that Adedayo (the current lover), was arrested with one Jeremiah Monday, as they were trying to sell the motorcycle they stole from the deceased after.
“On interrogation, they confessed to the crime and said the former girlfriend of the deceased masterminded the whole crime as she wanted to marry her new lover, and the only way for a successful union was to kill her ex-lover. Base on their confession, Iyabo have been arrested by our detectives.” Bolaji said.
