The Voynich Manuscript: A Manuscript Believed to Be A Written Compilation of a Lost Alien Civilization
The Voynich Manuscript is a document or perhaps a series of documents compiled into a memoir. The manuscript is written in an unknown language and it contains drawings of absolutely fantastic plants as well as maps of and drawings of unknown locations believed to be the unfamiliar starry sky. The manuscript currently ranks as one of the mysterious Objects in the world and is on the list of the most mysterious artifacts ever discovered.
The manuscript has been on the minds of several scientists from around the world and with each passing day, experts find its content very hard to understand not decode. The Manuscript has been at the grasps of humans for over a century. For something that has been around for a century, humans have not been able to decode its content. The book contains so many theories and ideologies that cover anything from information about an alien civilization to early Medieval science fiction.
With this in mind, one might be tempted to believe that the Manuscript was perhaps compiled by someone or a group of people from the medieval era but it seems unlikely considering that the language is unknown and its purpose is yet to be clarified as well as it's the origin.
All You Need To Know About The Supposed Alien Manuscript
The supposed Alien Manuscript was first discovered in 1912 and as a manuscript with such mysterious origin and strange content, it got such wide publicity. It was acquired by antique dealer Wilfred Voynich, hence the name 'Voynich Manuscript.' With various characters that have remained incomprehensible, the book contains 240 pages of an attempt to describe and explain but in an unknown language.
Immediately after its appearance or shall, I say discovery, the manuscript was subjected to rigorous processes one of which included careful cryptanalysis. It was also analyzed by some of the leading crackers of military codes both during the first and second world wars. Unfortunately, none of these analyses came up with anything interesting. They didn't even manage to get even closer to solving the content of the document.
After several attempts, researchers have only been able to figure out very little about the manuscript. For instance, the Voynich Manuscript is said to use about 25 different characters which are written from left to right, and that the writer expressed the ability of whoever wrote it. This means that the individual who wrote the book was someone who understood the language enough to write a book freely with it. Interestingly, this language remains unidentified and has never been seen to appear anywhere 3lse in history. So where did it come from?
To date, the origin of the hook remains a mystery but it has been carbon-dated and has been placed around the year 1404 to 1438.
So Why is it Believed That the Book Is From an Alien Civilization?
1. The language the Manuscript is written with is not used by any culture or tradition, nor nation in this world. It can't be found anywhere in this world and has not been traced to any other place on this earth.
2. The manuscript contains images of stars far from the earth as though the writer understood the alignment of the stars beyond what humanity knew at that point. The writing expressed deep knowledge of the star cards.
3. This is perhaps the most interesting aspect, most of the plants described in this manuscript are not found on earth. It makes one wonder where and how these plants came about.
Then again, this manuscript could have also been the work of an imaginative writer from the medieval era. There are examples of writers who have been able to create word systems out of the blues and use them in writing.
