3 Nigerians Who Became Guinness Book Of Records Title Holder This Year 2021

Many Nigerians have paved their way into the Guiness Book of World Records. It's a great achievement to have your name recorded in the book, and that's why the young ones work so hard to achieve it.

This article features 3 Nigerians that entered the Guiness Book of World Records this year, 2021.

1. Bayo Omoboriowo

The talented photographer joined the list of Nigerians to hold a Guinness World Record on 1st October. He was certified by Guiness as the holder of the world largest photobook.

The photobook titled 'Discover Nigeria’ measures 7.8meters by 7.8meters (totalling 60.84 square meters or 654 ft² 87 in²) when closed and, when opened, it is 15.65metres on its horizontal breadth and 7.8meters on its vertical length.

2. Blessing Okagbare

The Nigerian female athlete became a proud Guinness Book of World Records title holder earlier this year. She was presented the certificate for having the most appearances (67) in Diamond League meetings.

3. Governor Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State governor received the award in September, 2021. He was certified as the Guinness Book of World Records title holder of the world’s largest anniversary logo made with cupcakes mosaic.
