We take a look at how you can connect your smartphones to your TV sets.
1. Connect with Chromecast
If you have a Chromecast dongle or a TV with built-in Chromecast support, then you have to see if the app you want to watch on TV supports casting. If so, you can send content from your phone to the TV with a few taps. Apps that support cast with Chromecast are Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc. Just make sure your device is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast/smart TV. Then tap the cast icon in the app, and choose the compatible device to which you'd like to cast.
2. Connect with Samsung Galaxy Smart View.
Samsung Galaxy phones have something called smart view which enables you to connect and share things from your phone. With the smart view, you can connect your phone to your TV set.
3. Connect with an Adapter or Cable.
If your device doesn't have a Chromecast or smart view like Samsung Galaxy, you can use an HDMI adapter or cable to connect your phone to your TV.
Note: There are other ways to connect your phone to a TV set. With the use of some Apps like the DLNA app, you can do that.
