Pep Guardiola's men suffered a 2-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday evening.

PSG scored with two of their first three shots on goal to take all three points in today's game. Idrissa Gueye scored the game's first goal in the first half. While Lionel Messi put the game out of reach for City with a stunning second-half goal.

Well, here are the three things I observed from today's Champions League match involving PSG and Manchester City;

1. PSG's First Half Performance Outstanding And Brilliant

Paris Saint-Germain produced an impressive first-half performance against Manchester City, as they were by far the superior team in tonight's match. PSG's first-half dominance resulted in a 1-0 lead over Manchester City, thanks to Idrissa Gueye strike. Manchester City struggled in the first half, allowing far too many attacks to fail due to a misplaced pass or shot.

2. Messi gave his all to the Game

Lionel Messi put in an outstanding performance for Paris Saint-Germain in today's match. In today's game, the Argentine player gave it his all. He was, in my opinion, PSG's best player of the night.

During extra time when Manchester city were given a freekick, the Argentine took the job of laying down behind the wall. This shows he was ready to make any sacrifices for the team at any point in time.

3. PSG Performance Today Shows That They Are Genuine Contenders For The Champions League Title

In today's match, Paris Saint-Germain demonstrated that they are genuine contenders for the Champions League title this season. Pochetino's men were absolutely brilliant, working tirelessly to earn this incredible victory against a tough Manchester City.
