Nigerians can no longer have access to Twitter after the Federal Government deactivated it at the stroke of midnight/morning on Saturday June 5, 2021.
The Federal government announced on Friday, June 4, that it was suspending Twitter operation in Nigeria. All this came after Twitter deleted a tweet from the official account of the President of Nigeria, after his tweet seems to violate Twitter rules.
However, after the federal government of Nigeria suspended Twitter operation in Nigeria, The general overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye tweeted : "We will not retreat
We will not surrender
We will laugh last in Jesus name
#PeaceBeStill #Nigeria"
Nigerians have reacted to Pastor E.A. Adeboye's tweet, as some asked where is he tweeting from, some even claimed his using VPN, why some claimed the prayer by the Man of God.
