The forefront governorship aspirant of the People's Democratic Party(PDP) in Anambra State, Dr. Godwin Maduka, has vowed to make Anambra State a leading Mobile Phone manufacturer within four years as the governor.
In his commitment to revive the ICT sector of the State, this is part of his assurances. He further viewed to resuscitate the health, education, commerce, industrial, and infrastructural sectors and make them viable if elected the new governor of the state.
He made these vows while featuring on the AIT program themed "Nigeria Right Now (With Dickson Iroegbu)". Dr. Maduka said it has become essential to be acquainted with ICT by the youths. Teaching our children the foundation in ICT is very important.
In four years as a governor, our youths will produce mobile phones, he said. The government in collaboration with some of us that are coming into government should look at the talents of the youths, he added.
Dr. Godwin has shown commitment to revamping the economy of the state through the development of the ICT sector. This will expose Anambra State and its citizens to vast opportunities across the globe.
