Some reports also claimed that an announcement will be made in the coming days. This was disclosed by an insider according to the reports gathered.
Although, Firstbank has come out to deny knowledge of Otedola's acquisition of the bank.
According to Forbe's list, Femi Otedola has an estimated net worth of $1.8b billion in 2021.
He is the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd and the owner of several other businesses across shipping, real estate, and finance all to his name.
This new asset that he has accursed will put on a very high level of competition with Aliko Dangote.
