...Oil and Gas trainees to report to training center/camp Wednesday
The Ibom 3000 project flagged off by Governor UDOM Emmanuel on Monday, March 15, 2021, has continued for trainees in ICT, Agriculture and SMEs on Tuesday, Whereas Oil and Gas trainees will report to their training center Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
For trainees in Agriculture, their theory classes held at Watbridge Hotel, Uyo, with focus on how to apply fertiliser, use drip irrigation, soil characteristics and treatment, among others.
Agric trainees will move to the farm from Monday, March 22, 2021, for practical lessons.
Trainees on SMEs and ICT were merged at Ibom Hall, Uyo, to learn rudiments of starting a business, with plans for ICT trainees to begin their practical classes in their various training centers in Uyo, Eket, Ikot Ekpene and Oron on Monday 22, 2021.
Meanwhile, Nya Odiong, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area is ready to welcome Oil and Gas Trainees to their training center.
The Oil and Gas Academy which will serve as training center and camp for the trainees for the next couple of months is expected to be conducive and secured for trainees.
