Instagram has proven to be one of the top social media platforms out there. Since its launch on the 6th of October, 2010, it has risen up and up the charts with billions of users worldwide.
It was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. The android version was released in April of 2012.
It was eventually bought by billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook for $1B in cash and stocks.
The app consist of billions of photos of both humans and other objects, have you ever wondered what the first picture posted on the app was? Worry no more.
Kevin Systrom, uploaded a picture of a stray dog close to the Mexican border with just the caption, 'test', when the app was still in its formative stage. Check out the picture of the first post on Instagram below.
