Customers of MTN, and other commercial banks such such First bank Nigeria plc, GT bank, United Bank of Africa and host of other banks received a sigh of relief on Sunday following the reconnection of the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) and banking apps that was hitherto disconnected last Friday.
The disconnection brought untold hardship to the customers as they were unable to purchase airtime from the comfort of their homes using the USSD and bank application.
It would be recalled that the blockade was due to reduction of banks’ commission from 4.5 per cent to 2.5 per cent by the telco.
Customers had found it stressful to communicate with their love ones during the Easter celebration.
But with the new announcement, the customers will now have to return to their former way of operation.
Are you customer of these commercial bank, can you share with us how cope during the enter period of the blockade? Use the comment section below and say your mind.
