The chapter of the All Progressive Congress in Cross River State is planning to acquire 3 million brooms from local broom makers, the reason for the decision is for new entry of People into the party. Mr Bassey Ita who is the publicity secretary for APC in Cross River State made this information available to the journalists in Calabar.
According to Mr Bassey Ita, he claimed that the broom which is the symbol of APC is now scarce in the state. He stated that after Ben Ayade defected into APC, the amount of members have increased. In order to address the scarcity of brooms, he said that the All Progressive Congress has already ordered over 3 million Bunches of brooms. He mentioned that there is now a broom revolution in the state after governor Ben Ayade defected to the party. He stated that as millions of people keep on identifying and registering with the party, more brooms will be needed.
