2021 JAMB: FG Sets Price For The ePins, Warns Banks Against Hiking The Price

Joint Admission And Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced that ePins that are going to be sold by banks must not be sold to candidates above N3,500.

The register for JAMB, Professor Ishaq Olarenwaju Oyolede disclosed that the financial institutions must make sure that the ePins are delivered to the candidates electronically to avoid unnecessary difficulties. Daily Nigerian reports.

It can be recalled that JAMB has announced Thursday 8 to Saturday 15 this year as the date for the commencement of registration and the closing date for the registration respectively.

Prof. Oloyede also disclosed that the ePins are going to be sold at N3,500 only while the book to be used this year is going to be sold for N500 only, making the total price to be N4,000 and any commercial bank caught selling the pins at higher price will be delisted and prosecuted.

Controlling the price at which candidates are buying scratch card for JAMB has been a serious problem before digitalizing the process.
