Agriculture is a very important and essential activity human beings cannot avoid because it provides us with the Food we eat daily. Apart from the provision of foods to man, agriculture could serve as a means which provides Raw materials to industries and also boosts foreign exchange for a country When the agricultural produce is exported. Countries in the world that practice agriculture a lot include: USA, China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, etc.
Due to the discovery of Crude Oil in Nigeria, agriculture production reduced but recently the government are trying hard to make the country go back to farming and one of the government agenda is to improve Tea Plantations in Nigeria. Tea is one of the highly sought drinks which is consumed with Milk and bread by Many Nigerians.

Tea Plantation isn't a common activity in Nigeria and the companies that manufacture Tea products in the country imports Raw materials from other countries especially Kenya because Kenya is one of the largest tea producers in Africa. To boost tea farming in Nigeria, the Mambila Plateau which is located in Taraba State had been chosen to be the centre of the production as the largest tea farm had been set up in the Plateau.
Nigeria Stories made a publication through their Twitter page concerning the 615 hectares of Tea farm located in Kakara, Mambila Plateau in Taraba State. It was also revealed that the name of the Tea farm is "Highland Tea Plantation" and it is the largest in the West African region.
