A popular Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist, Tony Elumelu, has stirred reactions from many people as he shared a throwback picture of his matriculation day as an undergraduate.

The renowned businessman shared this memorable picture on his social media, which he captioned, “time flies”, probably looking back at how far he has come to become who he is today.


However, people have expressed their admiration of the highly respected philanthropist, and even complimented his sense of dressing, as they claimed the man has always been stylish from way back.



Tony Elumelu is an experience economist, and businessman, who is well known in the country and all over the world. The 59-year-old Plateau born, who has mentored many entrepreneurs, had his university education at Ambrose Alli University, where he obtained a Bachelor Of Science in Economics.

The father of seven has many businesses to his name, and he is married to a beautiful woman, Dr. Awele Elumelu, a medical doctor, with whom he has all his children.
