Dr Okonjo-Iweala Reveals The Remedy for Nigeria's Crisis And Economic Problems

Nigeria and other countries suffering various issues, according to Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a Nigerian-American economist, international development expert, and World Trade Organization Director-General, need time to become sustainable.

Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala stated this while attempting to find a long-term solution to the challenges that plague most African countries, particularly Nigeria. Specifically, the country's currency has become worthless to the rest of the globe due to its shaky economy.

Ngozi, on the other hand, believes that for a country to become sustainable, it will need time. It is, thus, a gradual process. Nigeria, she admits, can not claim to have been sustainable in a short period, given its current stage of development, level of production, and economic stagnation.

In a statement, the Director-General of the World Trade Organizations encouraged Nigeria and other countries to take the time they need to grow and achieve stability.

"Nigeria and others need time to create sustainability," Ngozi stated.

Do you agree with her on this?
