EFCC intercepts N32.4m in Lagos

Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC's spokesman, said that agents from the Lagos zonal headquarters were responsible for the seizure.

He said that he had been arrested and was still being interrogated by the person.

According to The PUNCH, Abdulrasheed Bawa, the chairman of the EFCC, has instructed all commission employees sent to monitoring stations to act fearlessly and prohibit allowing dishonest people to compromise the integrity of the polls by providing money in return for collaboration.

According to Uwujaren, there are presently tactical teams of operators in each of the federation states and the FCT.

"People may already contact hotlines set up by social media to report financial fraud and commission brokers. The EFCC advertises the number's value on social media sites.

"The general public is urged to use Eagle Eye, an EFCC app for reporting financial offenses that is available for download from the Google Play or Apple stores, to report any efforts to purchase or sell votes.

Through email at [email protected] or through our social media pages at @officialefcc, anybody interested in getting in touch with the commission is welcome to do so.
