Morocco is building one of the largest cement factory in the World, See photos.

Africa is home to some fascinating things in the World.

Known as the continent with so many natural resources, amongst other things, Africa is the second largest continent in terms of population, after Asia.

Well, in my article today, I'll be talking about a country in Africa that is set to build one of the largest cement factories in the world, and if not the largest in Africa.

Cement giant company "Lafarge Holcim" a French-Swiss multinational company that manufactures building materials,has made plans to open one of the largest factories of cement in the world in Agadir, Morocco.

The large factory which is worth 330 million dollars is going to have a production capacity of 1.6 million tons of cement annually. It will be 100% constructed by Moroccan engineers and will also be eco-friendly and will work with wind energy and use alternative fuel.

See photos below;

A very important factor to note about this factory is that, it will help Africa reach the stage of self-sufficiency in cement, which is one of the basic materials for economic revival.

The factory will begin production in July.

See reactions from happy Africans;

This is indeed good news for Africa.
