Gaining admission into the university for a discipline of choice that may span from four years to about seven years depending on the course of study is a really great feeling. Graduating from the university is another phase anyone would want to happen to them.
University of Benin (UNIBEN) is a Nigerian university in the ancient city of Benin in Edo State. It was founded in 1970 and is one of the topnotch Federal Universities in the country. Some graduates of UNIBEN are yet to collect their degree certificate after many years of graduation.
Earlier on, the management of the university of Benin sent out a circular asking all graduates of the Institution to process and get their degree certificates before the end of February, 2021 or risk having to pay a fine after the set date.
Then a new Circular was sent out on the 1st of March, 2021 extending the expiration date to March 31st, 2021. The extension was based on the industrial action embarked on by members of the Joint Action Committee (JAC).
The new circular clearly states the fine that every one who fails to get their certificates before the stipulated date.
