The registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released yet another update for 2021Jamb candidates.
Prof Is-Shaq Oyelade who gave this information said that to protect jamb candidates from scammers and wicked cyber cafe owners who make use of the registration to steal candidates email passwords and do away with it .
According to him, candidates will only need to use their emails after they have successfully completed their registration exercise and when they need to access information about the examination.
He introduced the new system which will make sure that the candidates information will not be exposed to dubious cyber cafe owners which use the opportunity of registration to steal candidates email passwords to scam them.
The registrar , Prof Ishaq Oyelade said candidates mobile phones are the only major tools needed by candidates to carry out the registration process. He said that the board has come up with a mobile app which will allow candidates to register or do anything they want to do.
Candidates also can send SMS to 55019 code. The code option , He explained will allow candidates check their admission and other verification via SMS.
They also will be able to print their examination slip, result notification slip or ticketing anywhere with the candidates jamb registration number only.

For the year 2021, the board has decided to use a book titled “The Life Changer”
Written by Khadija Abubakar Jalli, is a life changing novel to be read by not just Jamb candidates but for everyone.
