Governor Bello Closes All Schools In Zamfara Over Kidnapping -

SCHOOL ABDUCTIONS: Governor Bello Orders Immediate Closure of All Secondary and Primary Schools in Zamfara State 

Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed has requested the closure of all primary and secondary schools in Zamfara State till additional notification. He has additionally positioned limitations on the movement of vehicles into the 14 local government areas of the state from 6 pm to 6 am, while in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, it will be from 8 pm to 6 am. 

The Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Elkana, who announced the closure of the schools and the limitations on vehicles said, they are new measures to abridge the exercises of bandits in the state, with quick impact. 

CP Elkana said the Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed, after due meeting with security agencies and basic stakeholders, coordinated the conclusion, all things considered, and set limitations on vehicular movements in the state's fourteen local government regions, including Gusau, the state capital. He encouraged the occupants of the state to collaborate and remain well behaved, as the state government and security offices are focused on wiping out bandits' exercises and reestablishing harmony and serenity in the state.
