Oyo State Government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday, 20th of July, 2020 came out to express her readiness to permit students in the state to write the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and other kind of professional and external examinations.
Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr Nureni Adeniran made this known even as main contributors of the board and control of SUBEB to Islamic Mission Schools 1& II, Bode and UMC Demonstration Basic Schools I, II &III, Molete, Ibadan to protest against proprietors of shanties and unlawful systems across the colleges’ environments.
Dr Adeniran mentioned that going via way of means of the readiness of the state and readiness of college students in all terminal lessons, there could be no going returned in making sure that scholars withinside the kingdom face any outside examinations, which includes WAEC and the Joint Admission Matriculation Examination (JAMB).
