Since Federal Government announced the closure of school and schools have been locked down for 3 months and some weeks with no plans of opening as we are still going through the pandemic. Students who reside in the hostel of the University of Calabar has been receiving disturbing photos of their rooms being robbed as some of this students left their valuables in school. Some students left their credentials in school and while the room is being broken into, all their properties has been damaged and their credentials are Being posted on the internet
Also transportation price is really high, so most students can't travel from distant places to go pack their properties as the hostel is being robbed daily. We are begging transport companies to please reduce the transportation fee, and also for federal government to please resume schools. We also plead on our parents to please let their Children go back to school to pack their valuables.
