Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), announced yesterday that the board has released the results of it's examination conducted between 19th to 22nd June, 2021. However, it has gotten to our notice that thousands of candidates have not been able to access their results due to technical issue.
However, This article is set to guide the affected candidates on how they can overcome the challenges.
First, all affected candidates should note that the results is not on the UTME portal yet, so, candidates are advised to only send 'CHECKRESULTS' to 55019 to get their results via SMS. Meanwhile, candidates should ensure there is no space between 'CHECK' and 'RESULTS' while sending the request via SMS.
Also, candidates should make sure they have at least N50 on their simcard before sending the code on their mobile phone, otherwise the results will not be processed. Besides, only the line used for the generation of profile code during the registration process will be recognized on the portal.
In addition, candidates are advised to be patient if their results is not received immediately.
Finally, if after several trials, candidates do not still receive their results, they are advised to wait till the end of the examination in July.
Kindly share to help UTME candidates who might need a solution to this problem.
