The federal government of Nigerian in coalition with the West African Examination Council (WAEC) have finally reached a conclusion on the new released date for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which is going to be started from the September 5, 2020.
This news was decided by the Federal government of Nigeria is collaboration with the WAEC and was announced by the Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba in a news briefing on the Friday, 17th July 2020.
As read by the Minster of State Education; Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba in a news briefing update, he explained that the new update was a general and unanimous decision which was collectively reached and agreed upon by both the Nigerian federal government and the WAEC officials in a meeting on Monday noting that both parties have agreed to consult the exam with four other West African countries on the postulated date.
