The Joint admission and matriculation board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of it's screening exercise for different candidates slated for August 21st,2020.
Dr Benjamin also butress his point by saying" no institution should collect more than #2000 from any candidate and that the biometric data and photograph captured by the Jamb board should be used,no additional one should be collected from the candidates in order to avoid impersonation.
The guidelines laid down by the board must not be violated by any tertiary institution. Otherwise,it will attract severe penalty.
The screening exercise will start by August 21st,2020 and it will end whenever the Federal Ministry of Education announces the date. It doesn't have a fixed date because it will not be done on terminal bases due to the pandemic the country is experiencing.
Meanwhile, those that sat for UTME earlier and later had higher qualification can as well reapply to convert to DE. After reapplying and successful application of the admission, your registration number will be changed to 11 digits instead of 10 digits. For example, registration number 22656789AD will be changed to 22656789ADU with letter "U" sticked to the back.
