The West African Examination Council has disclosed, through the office of the Head of Public Affairs WAEC Nigeria, Demianus Ojijeogu, that candidates can now collect Attestation of Results and Certificates from any WAEC office in Nigeria.
Recall that WAEC, makes it compulsory for it's candidates to collect their Attestation of Result and Certificate from the office of the Council in the state where they sat for their exam.
The information was relayed by Punch Newspaper today, with the headline “WAEC introduces new method for collection of certificates, results”
According to the report made by Punch Newspaper, the report has it that, WAEC explained that the new method for collection of Certificate only applies to private candidates, while Attestation of Results can be gotten by both private and School candidates at any WAEC office in Nigeria.
The Head of Public Affairs WAEC Nigeria, Demianus Ojijeogu, in his statement further reiterated that for Attestation of Results, both private and School candidates are required to make their request from any WAEC office and pay a non-refundable fee for the service.
Ojijeogun also said that, for collection of Certificate, candidates are to make their request from any office of the Council and pay the prescribed fee.
