Acting VC Regret Uniport's Inability to Achieve Administrative Transition

The Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Steve Agochi Okodudu regret the inability of the University over 40 years of its existence to transit from one administration to another administration. Prof Steve vows to restore normalcy in the university.

Professor Steve thereafter vows to resolve all existing issues regarding staff and students agitations in the university community. As part of his strategy, he sets up two committees to resolve all impending tussles in the university.

This strategy is in the right direction following the level of discordance that transpired between the university under the Professor Sunday Lale led administration and Staff, and Students. They include not limited to unceremonious sack of lecturers, denial of promotion, and legal battles between students and the university's management.

Professor Steve Agochi Okodudu believed in the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution Method (ADR) to resolve all pending legal issues and electoral issues that beclouded the university.

On the issue of Welfare, The VC pledged to restore sanity to staff welfare. And also that the student welfare would be given attention to. This actions were hinged on his background knowledge of students welfare as Dean of Students Affairs.
