The 2020 set of pharmacy students were inducted into the pharmacy profession by the university of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).
The induction ceremony took place at the famous El-kanemi Hall of the University.
The colorful event was honoured by special guests which include the Vice-Chancellor of the University who was unavoidably absent but was heavily represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellors (DVCs); the registrar of UNIMAID the Chief of Staff to Governor Umar Babangana Zulum of Borno State, Professor Isah Marte Hussein ; Registrar of the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria, Dr. Elijah;the Head of Department of Pharmacy, Professor Garba Othman Sadiq and other well distinguished personalities.
Families, friends and relatives came to celebrate with their own at the event.
The graduands were seen beautifully dressed in their induction gowns sitting at the front column awaiting their induction into the pharmacy profession.
The oath taking was administered by Dr. Elijah, the Registrar of Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria, to the new pharmacists..
One of the inductees, Pharmacist Ezra Smith, acknowledged the support of his family who have been by his side during these years which were full of ups and downs. God has been faithful in all that he made me to witness this day as a pharmacist that I am now. My utmost gratitude goes to Him alone who has done this and will continue doing it.
I am also congratulating my colleagues and myself for these achievements. We all hope to find ourselves in better places designed by God, said Ezra.
