Resumption of Universities: On September 7, all Universities Should Go Ahead And Resume (My View)

I woke up this morning and decided to post this on my What's App Status, as shown in the image below.

"Let's Assume President Muhammadu Buhari said this today..."

BUHARI: Inasmuch as Covid-19 pandemic is on a persistent increase in the country, we can't afford to still keep our students and lecturers at home. At least, let's allow our University Students, who can take responsibility of their lives to resume. Hence, students are hereby ordered to go ahead and choose resumption date for themselves."

Here were two out of the myriad replies sent to me.

I am tired of staying at home as a student. Could you imagine that no sooner I just gained admission than Covid-19 pandemic started in Nigeria. It deters me whenever I remember that we are in the month of July and up till now, we have not even started our first semester examination, let alone resuming second semester. Let them continue delaying until I change my mind from going to school.

This will never cross the mind of President Muhammadu Buhari and other politicians because their children have nothing to do with Nigerian schools. However, if it Buhari should mistakingly give this order, I will say schools should resume any day in the month of September, so I can hustle with this July and August.

Now, I've decided to raise it up on this platform. Please air your view on this post. What would you have replied if you had seen that post on my status this morning?

"Resumption of Universities: On September 7, all Universities Should Go Ahead And Resume (View)" this was my viewpoint to people that replied my post.

For me, I think Universities should go ahead and resume on 7th September, 2020. What do you think?
