The Nigerian students have been very concerned and have grown impatience towards the continuous closure of schools while other institutions have been approved to resume their various activities.
Official organizations such as the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have also pleaded with the Federal Government to consider students in their actions regarding the approval of schools resumption nationwide.
But all these efforts of the students to hasten the approval or schools in the country have barely made any difference, because resumption of school is still yet to be approved by the Federal Government.
Thus, the National SUG PRO's Council has taken a bold step to protest for resumption of schools, which is tagged 'Reopen our schools'.
The union has forwarded this to all Nigerian students, while imploring that the students should join the twitter protest tonight 7pm till 12pm. The twitter hash tag to join and participate in this online twitter protest is "#Reopenourschools".
Therefore, the union, which is referred to as the Voice of Nigerian Students, has invited all students that are tired of staying home to join the twitter trend with the hashtag provided above.
