The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released guidelines for 2020 admission exercise for all tertiary institutions in the country.
Thus, the board has now directed all institutions to begin admissions for 2020 candidates for both first and second choices on 21st of August, 2020.
According to the information released, there is no terminal date for the admission process yet until the Federal Ministry of Education gives a deadline.
Professor Is-haq Oloyede, who is the Registrar for the board, has explained that the guidelines that were released during the 2020 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions will guide all the participants in the admission process.
The Registrar also stated that the names of every candidate that is admitted will be uploaded on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), as the admission exercise will be conducted by the system as directed by the board.
