"I Rushed To Our Hostel To Check On My Properties And Saw This" - UNN Student Cries Out Online.
ASUU strike is gradually becoming a big problem to the nation. Students are forced to stay in their homes, both final year students are delayed due to this long strike. Even the newly admitted students can't resume nor finish up their admission process. However, the federal government is yet to take final decision concerning this issue.
Since ASUU went on strike some hoodlums saw it as an opportunity to break into school hostels and steal student's properties. A student of federal university of Nigeria Nsukka who identified himself as "King Sobec" took to facebook and shared the condition he met his hostel room when he went there to check on his properties.
"I went to check on our hostel but see what i found, they took almost all the valuable items including our big foam", he wrote.
Universities need to provide security that will guide and protect all the hostels in order to avoid this incident from reoccurring. It will be very bad if the students resumes school only to discover that all their properties are gone.
