The National Youth Service Corp management, had yesterday informed all the Batch 'A' Corp members to return to their respective Orientation Camps, in order to complete the compulsory NYSC orientation programmes together with the current Batch 'B' Stream 1A exercise.
This was announced through a post made by board management via its twitter handle @OfficialNyscng yesterday around 1:51pm. According to the post, the management reminded the Corp members that the Batch 'A' 2020 Orientation program was suspended in March as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Its however maintained that all provisions have been set in place for all Batch 'A' Corp members to return to their respective Orientation Camps and join the current Batch 'B'.
According to the post, the management stated that the Stream 1A Orientation course will commence from 21st November, 2020 while others will be notified thereafter.
Furthermore, the management advised all prospective Corp members to check their dashboard for the date they are assigned to join in the orientation exercise.
At the end, the board encouraged all the Corp members to login to their dashboard and ensure to print out a reporting slip, which includes the following data: date of resumption, address of Orientation camp plus other important information.
Many people have reacted to this, some in support of the decision while others vehemently kick against the Management's decision.
A Twitter user with Username @Ochendoglobal was seen dashing out to the notice by saying; "We no recall anything, Goan Sit down".
