The IMO state university, IMSU through a memo passed is set to introduce evening program to the institution.
The evening program in Nigeria is usually considered in polytechnics. The Acting Vice-chancellor on behalf of the senate approved the commencement of Evening programmes under the coordination of the Institute for Continuing Education programme(ICEP).
Lectures in this Evening programme will start at 2 pm and end at 6 pm from Mondays to Fridays. The programme has been designed to run for 5 academic years, on which successful students will still be awarded Bachelor degrees and will be mobilized for National youth service corps (NYSC)
The Evening programme also have the same requirement as the normal programme of the institution, students who wish to apply for the programme must write jamb and score the minimum score of 160. The programme will commence in this 2020/2021 academic session.
