Do you know that JAMB is responsible for admission processes in Nigeria. Universities in Nigeria gives admission to students, but under the confirmation of JAMB. That is to say, tertiary admission in Nigeria is a joint activity.
Note that the Post UTME is conducted by schools in a bid to test candidates further, after the JAMB exam.
However, it might interest you to know that JAMB has announced that the admission process for the 2020 United Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence from August 21, 2020.
More so, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this when he released the 2020 admission guidelines . He also warned academic institutions to desist from advertising or selling application forms for admissions into some listed programmes.
Nevertheless, talking about the guidelines, all application for admission must be conducted by JAMB and that all admission exercise must be conducted on ITS Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
I advice that admission seeking candidates should go back to reading, as admission exercise is about to begin.
