The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has endorsed August 21 for tertiary institutions to start their first and subsequent choice screening for the 2020/2021 admission session.
The board cautioned foundations not to sidestep the Central Admission Processing System CAPS, through which affirmations must be directed.
"The first and second Choices Admission-Exercise be led for all institutions from 21st August 2020 to a later date that would be controlled by the Federal Ministry of Education and imparted to all the establishments.
"All applications for admissions to First Degree, National Diploma, National Innovation Diploma and the Nigeria Certificate in Education into Full Time, Distance Learning, Part-Time, Outreach, Sandwich, and so forth, must be prepared ONLY through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)," the announcement read to a limited extent.
A month ago, JAMB affirmed 160 or more as 2020 national least cut-off mark for entrance into state funded colleges. The board additionally endorsed 140 as least UTME score for induction into private colleges.
