What You Need to Know about Bukola Alada, Best Graduating Student at the Nigerian Law School

Bukola Fatimah Alada born into family of Prof. and Mrs Akintola Alada from Kwara State. Bukola started her education career at the University of Ibadan Staff School for Primary Education. She proceeded to International School Ibadan, located in the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. 

For her uncommon character and brilliancy, she was among the School Prefects. Bukola sat for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME conducted by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, she picked Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan.

Unfortunately, when the University Admission Committee released cut-off mark, she didn't meet up with the cut-off point. With the tradition in UI, no one could influence it despite the fact that her father, Prof. Alada was Dean of Student Affairs at that time, University of Ibadan's tradition to admit the best still hold. 

However, the only option Bukola had then was to change her course to Sociology under the Faculty of the Social Sciences since her score could not land her in the Faculty of Law.

With hard work and resilience to achieve her dreams in Law, Bukola made 6.9 out of 7 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in her first year. 

This gave her opportunity to cross to Faculty of Law to pursue her dreams course. With consistency and tenacity, the brilliant Bukola key into system straight. 

Bukola graduated with First Class and emerged best graduating student from the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan. The feat that earned her University's Valedictorian at the 2019 Convocation ceremony. 

Bukola's elder sister, Aisha also bagged First Class at the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan.

At the final Bar Examination conducted by Council on Legal Education, Bukola bagged First Class at the Nigerian Law School, she was not only among the 20 First Class students, she was announced best graduating student at the Call to Bar ceremony held in Abuja. 

She won 15 awards at the Call to Bar ceremony.
