The Chevening Scholarships would be granted to candidates who can prove that they have the necessary skills needed to create a positive impact.

According to this day live, the British High Commission in Nigeria said that the scholarship offers full financial support for applicants to study for any eligible master’s degree at any university in the UK whilst also gaining access to a wide range of exclusive academic, professional, and cultural experiences.

Duncan Barker, Chevening’s Director, said that the Chevening experience is so much more than a master’s degree. As well as an academic university experience.

He also said that they will organize an exclusive program of events and activities, so scholars can experience Britain’s heritage and history, discuss international policy, and interact with leaders at a range of academic, cultural, and social events.

According to him, scholars will learn by conversing with people from all over the world, they will also travel around the UK and get involved in the communities they live in. However, scholars are expected to make use of this opportunity and show independent thinking and pursue new experiences.

The good news about this program is that the scholarship will last a year, but the participants will be a part of the Chevening community for life.

British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing said that the scholarship is for those who are passionate about driving change, and who want to be the best at what they do, and who also have the imagination to inspire others.

Nevertheless, Your age, race, gender, religion, and cultural background do not matter as long as you have a clear vision for your future and the ability to achieve your goals.
