What Nigeria Students Plan To Do Concerning The Continuous Closure Of Schools

For months now student have been at home doing nothing, all due to the Covid-19 Pandemic affecting the whole world. Even before the pandemic, there was already an existing strike by The Academic Staff Union Of University, A.S.U.U. 


Before the Pandemic, A lot of Schools were writing Exams and those who weren't writing, were preparing to write theirs. But all this was halted when the President announced a Total Lockdown of the country in other to prevent further spread of the Corona Virus and Curb it well. But due to the effect the lockdown played in the Economic Growth of Nation, including Top Tier Nations Like France, Italy, India, China, United Kingdom and Even the United state of America. 

Many of these countries had to prepare and plan to reopen the country sooner than expected in other not to fall into a Financial Crisis and Economic depression. They came up with measures that will be implemented to curb the virus after leasing the lockdown on the Nation.

Part of these countries is Nigeria, which have seen the opening of Various centres important to the country, lifting the ban on international Travel, interstate Travel, Church and others. But what we are yet to see is the resumption of Schools. There have been Trials by Government to lift ban on schools for only Final year students so they can write their Exams, but the plans Failed

But Earlier today, student council have sent out a statement to all student to stage an online protest for the resumption of school on Twitter by 7 o clock, as most students are tired of staying at home and want to see the end of their session in school as soon as possible, especially those that are to graduate.
