With the approval of his Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, concerning the Conduct of year 2018,2019 and 2020 promotion exercises , Ogun state teaching service Commission have released a very important information toward the conduct of the oral aspect of the promotion exercise.
In a circular letter released and signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mr J.O. Odeyemi which contains the eligibility criteria for officers in the Conduct of the oral interview and the venue's of the interview across the three Senetorial districts of the State.
According to the release,for any teaching officer to be eligible for consideration , he/ she must fufil the following requirements.
I) G. 15-17 must have completed the stipulated 4 years waiting period.
ii) GL. 8-14 must have completed the stipulated 3 years waiting period
III) GL. 14-15 Nce up to '95 + degree up to 2014, employed on or before 1st July, 1995 and must have completed the stipulated 3 years waiting periods.
iv) GL. 14-15 Nce up to '96 + degree up to 2016, employed on or before 1st July, 1996 and must have completed the stipulated 3 years waiting periods
v) Nce holders on any grade level without a University degree are advised to go for further studies or remain stagnated on GL. 14.
vi) Offer and confirmation of appointment letter must be obtained from after 2 years of satisfactory waiting period , the newly employed staff who are yet to obtained same. Thereafter , teaching and non - teaching staff who are yet to be confirmed or issued the letters of appointment should take prompt necessary actions on the issue, as contained in a relevant circular issued by the Commission.
The venues for the interview across the three Senetorial districts of the state includes ;
a) Ogun central senetorial district - Abeokuta Grammar School idi Aba Abeokuta.
b) Ogun west senetorial district - Yeewa College Ilaro.
Ogun east Senetorial district - Adeola Odutola College Ijebu Ode and Remo secondary schools sagamu.
Qualified officer's are enjoined to bring to the venue of the oral interview ; original letter of appointment , confirmation letter, last promotion and academic certificates .
