The job portal of Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has began operation to receive uploading of documents from applicant who filled and submitted paper form to the commission in February.
The portal began its full operation as adjusted the authority of TESCOM as shown in a statement signed the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olabisi Oderinde.
The portal that was bid to receive applicants' uploading of credentials on 13th July, 2020 could not began due to technical issues.
Each applicant is expected to log on with the phone number used while filling of paper form in February when the application began.
The applicant will proceed to create an account with active e-mail address and supply personal password on the portal.
The applicant will then proceed to supply personal data and upload relevant documents correspond with qualification applicant used earlier.
There are 18 teaching staff available positions for all applicants majorly from core subjects.
Requirements for teaching staff as specified by Oyo TESCOM are:
Bachelor of Arts (Education) – B.A (Ed)/ Bachelor of Arts (B.A); Bachelor of Science (Education) – B.Sc. (Ed)/Bachelor of Science (B.Sc); Bachelor of Education (B.Ed); for those that attended Universities from recognized Institutions.
All applicants are expected to possess, Primary School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial, Senior Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English and Mathematics.
The TESCOM further stated that those applying with Degree must posses NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate while Birth Certificate (the National Population Commission) or Affidavit of Declaration of Age are also required for smooth registration.
It is important for all applicants to Local Government Identification and Evidence of Change of Name if applicable to any applicant.
