Over the years, education has been seen as a valuable achievement in different parts of the world including Nigeria. Several schools have been established in Nigeria over the years with some of them producing well renowned scholars.
Dennis Memorial Grammar School was established in 1925 making it one of the oldest secondary school in Nigeria. Aside from being one of the first generation secondary school in Onitsha, it has produced notable dignitaries and professors in the country.
This prestigious school which recently clocked 96 year old produced the first Nigerian professor of History, Prof. Kenneth Onwuka Dike. Prof Kenneth was also the first African Nigerian Vice Chancellor. Dennis Memorial Grammar School has successfully managed to also build a strong forever standing legacy by producing different professors in various fields of study.
