Education they say, is the best legacy, but the quality of Nigeria's education sector has been under intense debate from students, parents and citizens alike.
It is worthy of note that Nigeria is blessed with lots of talented and very intelligent kids, a lot of Nigerians are schooling abroad and they are setting the pace.
In Nigeria, there are some exams that are regarded as the bar of excellence for students, the West African School Certificate Examination; WASSCE by the West African Examinations Council; WAEC and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination; UTME by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board; JAMB are one of these exams.
Any student able to excel in these two exams are regarded as good enough to excel anywhere. Surprisingly, 16 year old Asonye Abekwuchi Alvin did not just excel in these exams, he surpassed expectations.
The boy had a result with full A1 in his WASSCE and got a total score of 340 in his UTME, out of the 400 obtainable.
Not just those, the young lad got full As in Cambridge Secondary school assessment exams.
While posting the results, Godson was of the view that this boy would have been on scholarships if it was another country.
What do you think of this boy's results? Drop your opinions in the comments section below.
